The Image

A stunning morning at one of The Lake District’s most iconic lakes; Buttermere. With a favourable weather forecast for calm conditions, I set my alarm for early doors and arrived on location for sunrise. On the north-east end of Buttermere, you’ll find this spectacular view of a row of pine trees, leading the eye to a little white hut known as ‘Char Cottage’. If there are reflections in the water, this location becomes arguably one of the most picturesque Lakeland scenes one can find!

Canvas details
All canvases are hand crafted using high quality European Pine. The image will be printed onto heavyweight canvas, the surface is then laminated for ultimate protection; No cracking, water resistant, cleanable, scratch proof and UV protection of up to 200 years! Only genuine HP Vivera Inks are used at 1440 dpi, producing superb image quality. All canvases come with specialised pre-fitted canvas hangers.

 

Canvas Types

20mm - Slim - a great value option consisting of a 20mm European pine fixed frame that is precision cut, mitred and then underpinned providing a strong robust frame. No compromise on quality; perfect for interior simplicity!

 

38mm - Premium - A luxurious thick exhibition style of frame, for those who want the canvas to really stand out in the room. Consisting of a 38mm deep European pine frame with real wooden wedged corners for a perfectly tensioned canvas; achieving a high quality contemporary finish. We then use galvanised staples which are taped for a neat appearance and protection of your walls. 

 

Canvas Edge Finish
There are three options for your edge finish; wrapped, mirrored or mirrored Blur.

 

Wrapped - The image will be 'wrapped' around all edges of the frame; a more aesthetically pleasing finish but will result in a small part of the image being lost.

 

Mirrored - The image will be 'mirrored' at the left, right, top and bottom edges, maintaining the full image on the front of the canvas.

 

Mirrored Blur - Probably the most popular option, the same as mirrored but with a slight blur applied.

 

 

Postage and Packaging 

<<IMPORTANT>> Unfortunately, only canvases 36” and under on the longest side can be shipped to Northern Ireland. If an order is placed to any of these destinations that exceeds the size measurement, a refund will be issued.

All orders will be shipped via courier (2-3 days). Canvases will be bubble wrapped appropriately and arrive in a bespoke white or brown box. Free postage & packaging for all canvas orders!
