Home to Derwentwater; arguably one of the most serene bodies of water in the Lakes, Keswick resides in the Northern part of the Lake District National Park. Keswick is quite favourable amongst landscape photographers, including myself, and for good reason; vista views, ample lakeside opportunities and easy access (for the most part). A half an hour drive from Junction 40 on the M6 or 40-45 minutes from Junction 36, Keswick comes highly recommended from me, especially if on a quick or last minute trip!
