In the heart of the Western Lake District lies the outstanding landscape of Wasdale. A long deep lake, big rugged mountains and tons of huge remote open areas are bound to give you a true sense of wilderness! The area is probably best known for being home to Wastwater; Englands deepest lake and Scafell Pike; Englands highest mountain! It takes a little bit of effort getting here compared to other more easily accessible locations in the lakes but I can guarantee that it’s always worth the longer journey!
