Having failed to locate the path to Tom Heights on several past occasions, I finally managed to find it and made the short walk up through the tall ferns. If you manage to find the path then the ferns aren’t actually too bad but I wouldn’t want to be fern wacking my way up there, that’s for sure! Before reaching the main summit point, I stumbled upon this group of trees and quite liked the composition I was getting with my telephoto lens. Regardless of this, I packed the camera back in the bag and carried on to the summit. This was my first mistake of the evening! As the evening progressed, it was becoming obvious that my intended shot at the summit wasn’t going to work and I fell pray to one of my weaknesses; stubbornness! In the direction of Fairfield, I could see glimpses of light breaking out and that feeling in my gut was telling me to ditch my preconceptions and go back to my previous composition. Of course, it wasn’t until the last minute that I made the decision to very quickly pack up and make the mad dash back through the maze of ferns to the wonderful group of Birches which at this point, had the most amazing light complementing Fairfield in the background! Luckily, I got myself set up and took the shot just in the nick of time before the light disappeared. I think I may have missed the very best of the light but I’m just glad that I listened to my gut, albeit right at the last minute!

I use Professional cameras and lenses in my workflow, resulting in high resolution photographs with exceptional image quality. (The preview images have been reduced in quality for web purposes). All photographs are taken and processed by myself.
I’ve included the most popular sizes, but if you do require a custom size, please contact me for a bespoke quote. Prints can be printed at any size up to around 55-60 inches on the longest side.
There are three options for paper choice. As standard, prints will be printed on a beautiful heavyweight photographic paper, with the option to upgrade to two museum quality archival fine art papers. Please see below for more information on paper types.
Photo Smooth Pearl 290gsm
A natural white, heavyweight and instant dry, high quality photographic paper. The beautiful pearl finish and white point gives a crisp finish with a superb colour gamut. Perfect for everyday printing and display.
Hahnemühle Fine Art Silk Baryta X 310gsm
A stunning heavyweight fine art paper with archival properties. 100% alpha-cellulose based which means that it is acid-free and lignin-free with no added optical brightening agents. The only brightening agent used is the barium sulphate, which is where the term baryta comes from. The paper has a smooth, non-textured surface with a silky gloss finish. A perfect paper choice for bright and colourful landscapes with high contrast and lots of detail!
Hahnemühle Fine Art German Etching 310gsm
Another beautiful heavyweight fine art paper with archival properties. 100% alpha-cellulose based which means that it is acid-free and lignin-free with no optical brightening agents. The paper has a premium matt coating designed especially for fine art applications. This guarantees outstanding reproduction of colour and detail. The surface of the paper is characterised by its velvety-textured look and feel, which is best suited for those that want the print to have a ‘painterly’ feel.
Some sizes may require me to make a small crop to the original image. This is due to the paper size being different to the original aspect ratio (2:3) of the photograph. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you need further assistance. Please see below for sizes requiring a crop;

As standard, the dimensions quoted for my prints refer to the actual paper size and thus are borderless. For example, if you order a 30x20” Inch print, the photograph will cover the entirety of the paper.
I can provide the print with a white border; either a small additional border or an internal border. Please contact me before or after purchase to notify me if you would like a border adding.
For the small additional border - this will keep the photograph size at the stated print size, with the white border added externally to the photograph. The size of the border will vary with different print sizes, but is usually ½ – one inch.
For an internal border - the size of the paper will stay as quoted. However, the size of the actual photograph will be reduced, dependant on the size of your required border. For example, a 30x20” inch print with a 1-inch internal border will result in a 30x20” paper size with a 28x18” photograph. You will need to notify me of the size of the internal border you require.

Please allow 2-3 working days for your print to arrive. All print orders are dispatched within 24 hours of you placing your order (working days only). Tracking is usually available within 24-48 hours.
Prints will be carefully packaged and sent flat in cardboard envelope or rolled within a tube, dependent on size.
It may be possible to ship internationally, depending on the country. Where possible, I try to use reputable print suppliers based in other countries. This helps to keep costs down but also minimises my carbon footprint. Due to the nature of using different suppliers, prices will vary between different countries. Therefore, all international print orders will be quoted on an individual basis. Please contact me for a bespoke quote.
These photographs are genuine moments in nature, captured authentically with high resolution cameras - There is no use of artificial intelligence (AI) in any of my workflows.
Please make sure you have selected the correct size and are happy with your choice, as refunds/exchanges cannot be given on account of this. In the rare and unfortunate event of an item arriving damaged, I will arrange for a replacement to be sent out, free of charge.
